AWESOME JACQUEMUS SUMMER SUIT IN PARIS 2015-16
Simon Porte Jacquemus has always been something of an auparavant garde developer. But this year he took his selection to new conceptual levels with a show that pleaded the query, “what new terrible is this?”
Not the outfits, thoughts you. No, those were very much in maintaining with Jacquemus’s deconstructivism strategy to style. Which intended that a model’s top was established out of the fleshlight sleeves of a man’s white-colored company clothing, overcoats came designed out of two sexy outfits chopped and twisted together, and an irregular outfit was stoned from the coating of a fit coat and ties from a man’s tie – all of it looking like organic decedents of the perform done by Rei Kawakubo at Comme des Garçons and Mr. Martin Margiela. But in the arms of the developer, they were given perhaps a more light-hearted viewpoint.
Rather, the agony came from Jacquemus himself, or to be more accurate Jean, the producer’s younger relative. The pre-teen conducted magnificently the challenging process of moving a huge red football of material across the massive circular level like Sisyphus constantly forcing a stone up a mountain only to see it move returning down again for everlasting. He also gamely followed the developer as he led a white-colored equine across the level. Now his pressure was a complicated red tie he drawn behind him. And lastly he taken a huge white-colored football of men’s key up tops as he trailed behind two designs who used theirs like circular small outfits, the sartorial area blocking his experience.
For a developer who just won a unique court prize of 150,000 dollars from the abilities that be at the LVMH Award, this psychological, some might say narcissistic, show experienced at possibilities with all the excellent luck and excellent will currently targeted on Jacquemus. Here’s expecting that whatever is irking him will successfully pass soon. At least we know that the guy can still generate a strong show, even if he is not sensation so strong himself.
