Fashion Brand Collection In British 2015
The British Fashion Council announced that London Fashion Week will be a new central location to showcase September: Parking Brewer Street in Soho. Previously based in “tents,” as they are known, in the courtyard of Somerset House, CFB hopes the move will “increase its footprint across the capital.”
“The long-term growth of designer fashion market in the UK is reflected geographically in this movement that will see the designers of the London Fashion Week with collections in one of the most dynamic centers, diverse and creative London took less than a mile from Bond Street, Dover Street, Mount Street, Oxford Street and Regent Street, “said Caroline Rush, CEO of the BFC, this morning. “The new and exciting place has already been dubbed” Fashion Park ‘Brewer Street and offer the freedom and flexibility for designers to be able to transform the exhibition space to reflect their own aesthetic and identity . ”
The operational parking, which is at the heart of Soho and next to the newly regenerated Great Windmill Street, may seem a surprising move for some, given the narrow dimensions of Brewer Street, but Munira Mirza, Deputy Mayor for Education and culture, believes it is a natural choice.
“Parking Brewer Street as the venue is a brilliant development Fashion Week in London,” he said. “With its position of Soho, it is the heart of a region that has long been associated with fashion and creativity in general. I am sure that the removal will literally drive even more interest in one of the sectors more important to our economy. ”
This will not be the first time a fashion show was held in space. House of Holland, Richard Nicoll and Antonio Berardi presented their ready-to-wear collections in the Art Deco building which was designed by the architect JJ Joass and built in 1929.
