SHOESDAY LOOKS FROM NEW YORK FASHION WEEK
New You are able to style 7 days is arrived and (along with viewing some absolutely crazy-dangerous contests in the Winter Olympics) I’ve been hunting all the stunning style selections over the end of the week. I’ve certainly got my favorites, such as Vivienne Tam’s stag outfit, which is ideal for next Autumn/Winter, and there have been some looks that I can’t see anyone dressed in, let alone myself. But it’s Wednesday Shoesday and I desired to carry you the best (and the worst) of the new season’s shoes so you can get a jump begin on preparing your shoes clothing collection for next winter.
The first shoes are, in my view, the type of insane ‘who-actually-wears-this?’ style that we can’t believe someone has created. That someone is Alexander Wang and I just know that the designer’s purses and shoes will definitely be impacting the standard – I bet Topshop is creating a duplicate of this fluorescent application satchel right now – but this couple of shoe-boots below? Will we really all be dressed in half-calf shin-pad high high heel mules come Sept 2014? I’m not sure that’s a look I’m going to be wearing and I couldn’t keep to cut up my knee-high shoes to make a cash conscious edition, so I think I’ll be providing Wang’s space-age army leg-guards a skip. The bag however, is my own, all my own.

One of my favorite selections was by Religious Siriano and was complete of fall colors – all apples, veggies and traditional dark – and I think most of the colors and designs were very wearable. My own look will certainly be affected by this developer, as I already have a lot of outfits in these colors in my clothing collection and will be satisfied to get another season’s use out of them this Autumn/Winter. I especially liked this sparkly outfit above which looks like it has been spread with gold-leaf (maybe I’ll try a DIY on my current outfits to get this look…) and just examine out those shoes! This mega-embellished high heel hits on the glistening metal look that we’re already seeing coming in shops for Spring/Summer and I think that over-embellishment might be a new pattern for Autumn/Winter. I like the crispy, three-dimensional, broken-glass style and it looks much less awkward than its studded set shoes forerunners from last season. manolo-blahnik_at New You are able to style 7 days from the telegraph
